From time to time all pet owners experience the heartache of their pet becoming lost, or in some cases stolen. The loss or removal of an identity collar is all too simple and collars are not always safe for adventurous animals. An easy way to ease these concerns and increase the odds of having your pet returned is to have your pet micro chipped with an EasyTrac-ID microchip. Each microchip holds its own unique number and is simply implanted under your pets skin by your vet or animal warden. This number is the registered with you and your pet's details on the National database.

The majority of veterinarian practices, local authorities and welfare societies hold the special scanners that read the microchips. If your pet does unfortunately stray and is found, they can scan the microchip and use the number to access your details on the database. They will then contact you and re-unite you with your pet. The database can be accessed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and once registered you can amend any of your details over the internet using the password that you will be supplied.

EasyTrac-ID microchips conform to 11784/11785 of the ISO standard and are compatible with the Government's Pet Travel Scheme. This allows you to take your pet abroad to countries in the scheme and then back into the UK without having to put your pet through six months quarantine.

EasyTrac-ID microchips can be used for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, birds and tortoises.
